The Trinity Capital now has 195 bedrooms!

We are proud to open 23 sumptious new bedrooms, all spacious and with high ceilings. Some have exposed brickwork from the old fire station that used to be housed in the building. The striking colour scheme that the Trinity Capital is known for is continued in the new rooms, with artwork that will definitely catch your eye. All the new rooms are air-conditioned and have free wireless internet access.

Decline in tourism to Dublin

As the dreaded financial crises continues the number of people travelling to Dublin is in decline. For the first time since 1952 the number of overseas trips by the Irish is outnumbering the number of visitors coming in to Ireland. Occupancy in Dublin dropped to 66% in 2008 from 72% in 2007.

Convention Centre Dublin taking shape on the banks of the Liffey

The spectacular structure of the Convention Centre Dublin is already a feature in Dublin, almost 2 years before its completion. Scheduled to be ready for use in September 2010, the building work is well under way and the shape is becoming clear to see with the glass front being completed in November. Trinity Capital Hotel is in a great location for anyone attending the Convention Centre, just a 5-10 minute walk along the river.

Corporate Night in the Trinity Capital Hotel

To celebrate the refurbishment of the Trinity Capital we invited some of our loyal and valued customers to the hotel for a Barbecue in our outdoor Courtyard. We were lucky with the weather and had a great turnout, over 100 people came to taste our food and have a look at the hotel.

Café Cairo opens its doors

Trinity Capital Hotel is proud to open an exciting new bar/restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel. The plush furnishings and mix of north African and European décor gives it a very different look from your standard hotel bar.
The bar also includes a funky outdoor courtyard, the perfect area for an afternoon coffee or cocktail and an intimate chat.
Cafe Cairo offers an extensive menu sure to satisfy any palate, why not come on in and try it for yourself!
